Traditional wooden kohl bottle

This wooden kohl bottle, handcrafted in Morocco, is an essential accessory for oriental beauty. It helps keep the kohl powder dry, away from any impurities.

This kohl bottle comes with a wooden stick called Mirwed, allowing smudge-free application of kohl powder , sold separately. Coming from Moroccan craftsmanship, it is a pretty oriental decorative element that will easily slip into your handbag.

This wooden kohl bottle was made in Fez, Morocco. It is made from beech wood and hand carved. Thus, each piece is unique. By offering you these bottles we wish to promote the work of Moroccan artisans and improve their daily lives.

Usage tips

Open the bottle using the top cap. Fill it with kohl powder. Use mirwed to apply kohl.

-Introduce the mirwed inside the bottle (to the bottom); then turn it carefully. After taking it out, tap it against the inside wall of the bottle to remove excess powder.
-Place the stick on the lower eyelid. Gently close the eyelids on the mirwed. Gently slide the stick over the lower eyelid (closed eye), then pull the stick outwards as if to extract it from the corner of the eye.
