Rhassoul or rhasoul (or even ghassoul) is for those who do not know a clay which is extracted in the Atlas in Morocco. 100% pure and natural , it is used in natural cosmetics for hair , face and body . Without any surfactant, it cleans by absorbing impurities very gently, without being harsh.
It is found today in several states: in strips , in extra-fine powder and in a ready-to-use paste (with argan oil, essential oils, etc.).
Rhassoul is often used as a base for a “homemade” or DIY natural shampoo. Rhassoul is ideal for getting in on the low poo trend.

Ingredients and container
- 2 to 4 tsp of rhassoul
- 1/2 tsp Aloa Vera gel
- 4 drops of lavender or peppermint essential oil
- 1/2 tsp jojoba or argan oil (if you have dry lengths)
- a little water and or rose hydrosol
Preparation
Mix the ingredients in a bowl until a smooth paste forms. If you find the texture too liquid or too thick, add water or rhassoul.
Application
- Wet your hair.
- Apply the paste to your hair with emphasis on the roots . It won't lather like shampoo, but it's pretty easy to apply.
- Leave to rest for a few minutes (2 to 3).
- Rinse well until the water runs clear.
Beauty tip:
If you have a little rhassoul paste left, you can use it by applying it as a facial mask (exposure time 2 minutes). result: a clean and fresh face.
Storage: this preparation can be kept refrigerated for up to 3 days.

Super recette que j’ai testé sans l’huile essentielle. Je la prépare chez moi pour l’utiliser sous la douche et quand je vais au hammam je prend une petite coupelle tous mes ingrédients et je prepare mon shampoing là bas. Je l’utilise plutot comme un Shampoing/ masque , car je le laisse reposer 5 à 10 minutes.

Super recette que j’ai tester au hammam. Elle est super pratique et on peut l’adapter comme on veut; je l’ai utilisé pour masque cheveux et le reste en masque visage. Résultat super top: cheveux tres soyeux et gainés et visage net et doux. Et tout ca naturellement grâce au RHASSOUL!!!

J’ai une petite question concernant ce shampoing: S’il me reste de la pâte en surplus, est se qu’il est possible de l’utiliser en masque sur le visage?
